Music and video bingo for hosts

Run a music bingo night that fills the room.

BeatsBingo turns any pub, bar or club into a music video bingo night, and goes wherever you host. Play music videos or audio from your own library or Apple Music, and let the room mark cards on paper or their phones. All from a Mac or iPad.

Home from £4.99 for 48 hours. Advanced from £6.99 a week. No per-event fees. Requires macOS 26 or iPadOS 26.

What it is

A night you can take anywhere.

Music video bingo is the format pulling livelier crowds into venues midweek, and BeatsBingo goes wherever you host, one venue or twenty. Pick a playlist, generate the cards, and play. The big screen rolls the videos while players mark the songs they hear, and every win is checked against the songs actually played, so there is never a dispute at the bar.

1 · Host

Build a game from any playlist

It is music video first, and the songs play out on the big screen. Add audio only tracks and Apple Music too. Choose a grid size and a win pattern, then generate cards to print or send to phones. Minutes, not hours.

2 · Big screen

Videos on, room working

Send the display to any TV or projector over HDMI or AirPlay, with the join QR code, song counters and win pattern chips. On Pro, your venue and sponsor branding sits right on the screen.

3 · Players

Mark, match, shout bingo

Players use printed cards or a one tap phone card, with no app to install. When someone shouts, you verify the claim on your host screen against every track played. No arguments, quick winners.

Why hosts love it

Built to run a real room, not a demo.

Music video first

Full music videos on the big screen are the heart of the game, the format that gets a crowd shouting. Audio only and Apple Music are there when you want them.

Apple Music and your files

Build games from Apple Music or your own video and audio files, including from a USB stick or SD card. Mix streaming and local files in one playlist.

Print and phone cards

Generate printable card packs (PDF, A4 or Letter, one or two per page, ink saver) and instant phone cards, and mix both in one game. Printed packs are on Advanced and Pro.

Every win verified

A claimed win is checked against the songs actually played and shown on screen. Green ticks, no disputes, next round rolling.

Your branding, on Pro

On the Pro plan, put your venue logo and a sponsor slot on the big screen and printed cards, and turn the night into extra revenue.

No per-event fees

One subscription covers unlimited nights, not a fee for every event. A hired bingo or quiz host runs £80 to £150 a night, so at £14.99 a month Pro pays for itself on the very first one.

Pricing

“I've been a beta tester of BeatsBingo since V1 and have hosted quite a few brunches and evening sessions. It had a few issues back then, but V2 is a huge upgrade. It's good to see a company listening and acting on feedback, especially on the visuals and the handset play.”

“Went to the pub on a Tuesday for food and they were having a BeatsBingo night. It was fun to play even though I didn't win. The host Michelle had such brilliant banter with us all, wandering around, chatting and getting us singing along.”

“That was fantastic. We set it up on the iPad for a family BBQ so the kids had something to do instead of YouTube videos. We ended up playing ourselves with the adults in the small hours too. Absolutely worth it.”

Good questions

FAQ and support

Do players need to download anything?

No. Players scan a QR code on the big screen and play in their phone browser. Any phone works.

Do I need internet at the venue?

Only for Apple Music streaming. Your own video and audio files play with no internet at all. Players join over local Wi-Fi, which does not need an internet connection either.

How many people can play?

A game holds up to 300 cards in total. Phone players are capped by plan: 10 on Home, 75 on Advanced and 150 on Pro. Printed cards make up the rest, so a Pro host can run a 300-card night with 150 phones and 150 paper, or go all paper for the biggest rooms. We load test to a full 150-phone game, so it holds up when the room is full.

How many songs does my playlist need?

The app will run from as few as 8 unique songs, but a good night needs more so the cards differ enough. Plan on roughly 25 to 50 unique songs for a small game, and 80 to 120 for a full house. The bigger the playlist, the more the cards differ, the later the wins land, and the smaller the chance of two players shouting on the same song. The help page has the exact recommended sizes by grid and player count.

What is the difference between the plans?

Home is a one-off Party Pass for small rooms, Advanced is a weekly plan for full hosting, and Pro adds your venue and sponsor branding. Full prices, player limits and features are in the pricing section above.

Can I use my own music?

Yes. Drag in your own video or audio files, or mix them with Apple Music tracks in the same playlist. Song and artist names are read from your files tags.

Do I need a music licence?

BeatsBingo plays the music and video files you provide, and includes no music of its own. You bring your own files or use your own Apple Music subscription. You are responsible for the copyright and public performance licensing that applies in your country, especially when playing to a paying or public audience.

Can I print bingo cards?

On Advanced and Pro, yes. Export to PDF in A4 or Letter, one or two cards per page, with an ink saver mode. Paper and phone players can be in the same game and the host verifies every claim either way.

How do I get the game on the pub TV?

HDMI or AirPlay from your Mac or iPad. The display window is built for 1080p TVs and projectors.

Can I host a big game from an iPad?

Yes, the iPad hosts full games. For games above 75 phone players we recommend hosting from a Mac, or keeping the iPad on power, because serving a very large room of phones from an iPad on battery can drain it quickly.

Can players cheat?

No. Phones only mark squares, every bingo claim is checked on the host screen before it counts, and song names stay hidden on phones until the reveal.

What languages does it work in?

Ten: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Each player's phone follows its own language automatically, which is handy for tourist venues and mixed crowds.
